Two Cascade probe arms and vacuum chuck are placed directly above a GMW 5201 magnet which projects magnetic fields up to 3500 Gauss, up through the chuck and back down. Motor controlled stages (X,Y,R) allow the user to change the magnetic field vector from in-plane to out-of-plane, or to rotate the in-plane field orientation. Cascade probes (DC or RF to 40 GHz) allow the user make electrical measurements while change the magnetic field orientation or magnitude.
